Need Help?

RULE NUMBER ONE

You will need to show evidence your cat's vaccinations are up to date.

Why?
Protection for Your Cat
We have a very strict health policy.  We  take the health of our guests very seriously.  We don’t want any infectious diseases (such as Cat Flu) in our Cattery.
This is why we need you to provide proof your cat has been vaccinated and their vaccinations are up to date.  We need to see your cat has been regularly vaccinated for the last 2 years and we need to see a vaccination record as proof your cat is up to date with all their vaccinations.
Does your cat suffer from sneezing attacks often or do they sneeze when they are stressed?  Has your cat got a runny nose?  Or gunky eyes (discharge around the eyes?)
If you answered YES to any of these questions, please give us a call on 9879 2803 and let us know your cat does suffer from these conditions.  Your cat may be suffering from an infections condition.  This is very important information we need to know  BEFORE YOUR CAT STAYS WITH US, this is so we can ensure  the optimum health and wellbeing of your cat and all our guests.  Our friendly staff are waiting to help you.
If a cat presents with cat flu at time of arrival we will:
    (1)    Conduct a veterinary examination and provide the option of admitting the cat into our veterinary hospital and provide the cat with medication to help them get better.  However the cat will not be able to stay in our cattery, because Cat Flu is very infectious.
(2)
The cat will instead stay in a warm and comfortable hospital bed for the remainder of their stay.  There will be extra costs incurred for daily hospital stay and care and medications.

Can I get my cat vaccinated at the Veterinary Hospital at the Cattery?
If your cat needs to be vaccinated we will vaccinate your cat 3 weeks prior to their boarding arrival date to ensure maximum protection.

Please call 9879 2803 for further information or to make a booking.

Our Policy on Fleas
If your cat has fleas when entering the cattery, treatment will be given immediately to treat the condition.  We have a ZERO tolerance policy on fleas as the health of our guests is our number one priority. We make no apologies for this.  If fleas are found on your cat we will treat them and the treatment costs will be payable at the end of your cats stay.
